  • Margaret Barbour

    Violin
    Margaret is a violinist, orchestrator, composer, and proud lizard mom. She holds degrees in both Performance and Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee College of Music, and has been playing professionally for several years in the greater Boston area. She is well versed as a musical theatre, classical, and jazz performer. Most notably she has performed with the 8 Bit Big Band, Mia Asano, and Sissy Castrogiovanni, and at major venues such as Carnegie Hall and MGM Music Hall. She is excited to be making her debut at The Mac-Hayden Theatre this summer under M.D. Evelyn Tomaro, with whom she most recently worked on The Footlight Club's production of The Prom and Emerson College's production of Sunday in the Park. Margaret currently resides in Brookline, MA, but will be living in New York City starting this fall, where she plans to continue work within the theatre industry.

  • Thomas Biggs

    Trumpet
    Thomas “Tab” Biggs is very excited to be joining the Mac-Haydn Theater for “Annie!” Tab is a recent graduate of Florida Atlantic University and performs with many classical, jazz, pop, rock, and pit ensembles throughout South and Central Florida. Tab has been fortunate to perform with groups such as Symphony of the Americas, rock band Making Faces, and in several professional theater productions, such as A Chorus Line, 9 to 5, Freaky Friday, 1776, and Into The Woods. As a soloist, he was named a semi-finalist at the 2024 and 2025 National Trumpet Competitions. In addition to performing, Tab is passionate about music education. He currently teaches at schools throughout Palm Beach County where he provides accessible and engaging music instruction for students of all ages.

  • Ethan Chaffee

    Trumpet
    Originally from Plymouth Minnesota, Ethan Chaffee is currently studying trumpet performance under the direction of Robert Baca at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. Ethan specializes in all styles of playing and is comfortable playing lead in jazz big bands, principal in wind ensembles and orchestras, as well as performing various solo literature. With experience playing productions such as Anything Goes, Fiddler on the Roof, Kinky Boots, Matilda, My Fair Lady, Come From Away, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Music Man, He is excited to be joining the pit orchestra for Guys and Dolls for his first show at the Mac-Haydn theatre. He works as a freelance musician in the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area.

  • Daniel Chouinard

    Cello
    Daniel is the antithesis of the stereotypical string musician. During his time at Berklee, he quickly became one of the most sought-after cellists at the school, collaborating with dozens of artists on stage and in the studio, all while teaching cello lessons with the non-profit organization City Strings United. He also began releasing music under his artist name “Danny Sea”. He graduated with degrees in Cello Performance and Contemporary Writing & Production. Daniel now works with Musiversal as one of their world-class session musicians, providing interactive recording sessions to clients around the world. He also performed and wrote string arrangements for Jason Ji’s “Finger Pickin’ Good” show at Carnegie Hall, and has collaborated with artists like Vincent Lima, pik pik, and Mel Fine. Daniel can be seen throughout New England performing cello and bass at weddings, events, and regional theaters, and finds time to be an avid hiker and home cook.

  • Alex Franklin

    Music Director/Asst. Music Director
    Alex Franklin is a vocalist, pianist, music director, orchestrator, and arranger from Westford, Massachusetts. He recently graduated from Berklee College of Music with a double major in Contemporary Writing and Production and Professional Music, with concentrations in Musical Theater Conducting and Recording and Production. His recent music directing credits include "Bare", "Berklee Broadway Band: Unplugged", "Three Courses", "Curtain Up!", "Mine 'Til the End", "Annie", "Seussical", and "Lightning Thief". Alexloves working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and has experience as a music supervisor/copyist and arranger/orchestrator for various shows, performances, and ensembles. When he is not performing or working on music, Alex loves to challenge his mind with different brain games such as jigsaw puzzles, logic puzzles, or escape rooms.

  • Jason Meusel

    Bass
    Jason Meusel is a bassist living in the greater New York metropolitan area. He is very excited to be returning to the Mac-Haydn Theatre for his second season! Jason has a degree in Double Bass Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music where he studied under Rachel Calin. While he loves performing and listening to all kinds of music, Jason has found his passion playing in pit orchestras. has performed across the East Coast and the Midwest. Some of his favorite pit projects include West Side Story, Once On This Island, Rent, and a performance of the works of Steven Flaherty at Carnegie Hall. Jason is looking forward to bringing another season of musicals to life at the Mac-Haydn Theatre!

  • Celia Sieckert

    Cello
    Based in Boston, Massachusetts and Minneapolis, Minnesota, Celia Sieckert is a classically trained cellist currently pursuing a degree in Cello Performance at Berklee College of Music. She has performed as an orchestra member, chamber musician, and soloist in a variety of genres, ranging from standard symphonic works and cello concertos to musical pit orchestras and improvised singer-songwriter accompaniments. Celia was a soloist at The Philadelphia International Music Festival in the summer of 2020, a member of the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies on their concert tour of Southern Italy in June 2022, and an artist-in-residence at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater in June 2024. As she completes her studies at Berklee, Celia hopes to interpret major works of the classical cello repertoire while also expanding her proficiency in folk, jazz, and free improvisation. Celia’s theater credits (so far!) include Bright Star, Once, Anastasia, Carrie, Pippin, Hadestown, and Into The Woods.

  • Rebecca Sims

    Reeds
    Rebecca Sims is a Reed Doubler based in Minneapolis, MN. She is delighted to be joining the pit orchestra at Mac-Haydn theatre for her first post-grad school show. Her previous show credits have included Matilda, Rodgers’ and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Oklahoma!, Barnum, and Spongebob: The Musical at high school and community theaters throughout the Midwest region. Most recently she joined the pit orchestras for the 2024-2025 productions of Footloose! and Anything Goes at Oklahoma City University. She graduated in May 2025 from OCU with her Masters in Multiple Woodwind Performance where her principal teachers included Professors Parthena Owens and Lucy Song (Flute), Dr. Joshua Heaney (Saxophone), Dr. Lisa Kachouee (Clarinet), Dr. Rachel Maczko (Oboe), and Dr. Anna Resnick (Bassoon). Alongside her pit work, Rebecca teaches privately and techs for marching bands throughout the Midwest.

  • Evan Stroessner

    Percussion
    Evan Stroessner is a drummer from Westchester, NY. Drawing from a diverse musical background and a deep-rooted passion, Evan brings a sensitive yet powerful musicality to each performance. He has experience in a range of settings, including pit orchestras, studios, and festivals, each of which has strengthened his appreciation for the breadth of music and allowed him to develop his expressive style. Growing up around New York City was a significant factor in Evan's musical development. The most impactful memories from his early years include seeing shows on Broadway and at Madison Square Garden. A recent graduate from music school, he aspires to return to New York and reconnect with the rich musical landscape that shaped his identity as both a musician and a human.

  • Evelyn Tomaro

    Music Supervisor/Music Director
    Evelyn Tomaro is an NY/NJ based music director, keyboardist, and conductor specializing in Musical Theater. Evelynbegan studying piano at the age of three and graduated from Berklee College of Music this past May with a BM in Professional Music and a minor in Musical Theater Conducting.  Favorite music direction credits include Dogfight, Sunday in the Park with George, 13 the Musical, and The Prom. She has also played keys for countless shows including Into the Woods, Anastasia, Pippin, Sweet Charity, SpongeBob, and The Drowsy Chaperone. She made her 54 Below Debut as the music director and piano conductor for Acts of Love: The Songs of Jason Robert Brown this past January. Evelyn is thrilled to be joining the Mac-Haydn Theatre community this summer!

  • Megan Trach

    Reeds
    Megan Trach is thrilled to be joining the Mac-Haydn Theatre this summer as a woodwind doubler. They recently played over 450 performances with the national tour of Mean Girls. Previously, they played woodwinds for over 250 performances of the national tour of Fiddler on the Roof. Megan graduated with an MM in Flute Performance from the New England Conservatory in 2022, studying flute and piccolo with Cindy Meyers, piccoloist of the Boston Symphony. At NEC, they won the wind ensemble concerto competition on piccolo. They graduated summa cum laude from Barnard College of Columbia University in 2020 with a BA in Music.
    In Megan's spare time, you can probably find them doing overly complicated nail art, playing word games, or listening to show tunes.

  • Travis Welch

    Guitar
    Travis F. Welch is a musician and composer from Tennessee. He has spent the last two years on the national tour of the musical Chicago playing banjo/mandolin/ukulele. Previously credits include Bright Star, The Bridges of Madison County, Sister Act, 9 to 5, Madame Buttermilk (all at the Barter Theatre, Abingdon, VA), Spring Awakening & Violet (Emory & Henry), and The Buddy Holly Story, Oklahoma!, Always… Patsy Cline (Highlands Playhouse). He has composed incidental scores for theatres across the country including The Rose Theatre (Omaha, NE), Duke City Rep (Albuquerque, NM), Thunder Bay Theatre (Alpena, MI), Underling Productions (NYC), and the Barter Players (Abingdon,VA). He is thrilled to be joining the Mac-Haydn family for two shows this summer!
